10 Things to Remember in Practicing Self Acceptance

  1. You are a spiritual entity living in a physical body.
  2. You are a living miracle, unique, filled with potential and able to create anything.
  3. You will eventually die and you need to stop wasting time complaining and hoping that things are better. 
  4. Be grateful for the present moment. Live each day fully.  It might be your last. 
  5. People that hurt and criticize you are often, if not always, project their insecurities.  Know that it’s not you, it’s them.  Empathize, know where they are coming from, do not fight back and move on.
  6. Allow love to reside in your heart, by realizing that this is your nature. 
  7. You do not prove to anybody that you deserve love.  You are worthy, regardless of what you do or don’t do, say or not say. 
  8. Your past mistakes were there to teach you lessons.  Let go of guilt and remember that you are now a stronger person because of those painful experiences. 
  9. You are meant to be here, you have a purpose, may you realize it or not. 
  10. Be happy and do things that define happiness. Smile, laugh, give love
